Panels and Portals

The series Panels and Portals depicts interior spaces constructed from flat planar panels (floors, walls and ceilings) that are perforated with rectangular openings or "portals." These openings function as the opposite of planar panels and offer a glimpse beyond these encapsulating interiors into expansive landscapes that are devoid of architecture or other linear containment systems.
