The Shape Series

After the Public Performance of the self, Zittel set out to make work about the personal or private realm. But the dilemma in this endeavor, is that any sort of documentation thereby renders the private public. The Shape series are an attempt to depict some of the moments of private life - by rendering them into shapes that function between abstraction, symbol and logo.
