Indy Island

Indy Island, commissioned by the Indianapolis Museum of Art for their “100 Acres Art and Nature Park,” was a fully inhabitable experimental living structures that examined the daily needs of contemporary human beings. The island was occupied over the course of four summers by residents who adapted and modified its structure according to their individual needs, while also serving as “hosts” to facilitate public viewing of the work.
