A4, Five Whites

A4, Five Whites was an edition produced for Whitechapel Gallery in 2015. The size of each weaving was based on the A4 format (which is specific to Europe) and woven with five different variations of white thread. There is a linearity to the process of weaving which very much resembles the laying down of text when writing or the way that an inkjet printer prints out text by row by row.
