A-Z Comfort Units

The fourth work in Zittel’s series of Living Units was the A-Z Comfort Unit. The unit featured a large, fort-like bed with rolling service carts for different functions such as eating, office work and a vanity cart. One could perform all of the day’s tasks without ever leaving the security and comfort of bed. With carts docked at either side of the bed, two people could use the Comfort Unit at the same time.
