| The nests of the Breeding
Unit for averanging 8 breeds contain channels that direct
the eggs into the lower incubated units, combining every
two upper compartments into a single lower compartment.
The eggs hatch, the chicks grow up, mate, and then lay
more eggs to again be combined on the next level down. The
final offspring produced in the lowest level is a combination
of all eight original breeds and contains primarily dominant
or "original" traits. It thereby follows that
this final chicken is a more "wild" or "original"
form of chicken than the eight domestic breeds it was created
from.
